	The child to staff ratio at Harbor Haven is 3:1 with youngsters being placed appropriately in small groups based on age and level of development.

					KEY STAFF

				SUPERVISORS & SPECIALISTS

			Supervisors and program specialists have degrees in special education or related fields. They have extensive experience working with children who have special needs in both educational and recreational settings. 	COUNSELORS


	Many counselors are young professionals (teachers, social workers, speech and occupational therapists, etc...) who work with a special needs population during the school year. Other counselors are mature undergraduate and graduate students, carefully chosen for their ability to work and play with campers. We provide a comprehensive training and orientation program prior to camp opening.
