Harbor Haven opened for the first summer in 1997 and has been renowned in New Jersey and New York as the premiere camp and summer program for children with mild special needs ever since.

Thank you for visiting our website.  Robyn Tanne, the co-founder and director, invites you to call her to discuss the possibilities of a magical summer at Harbor Haven for your child.  The phone number is 908-964-5411 or feel free to stop by the Harbor Haven office which is located at 470 Prospect Avenue, Suite 203 B in West Orange (see directions), just minutes from the camp location.

Harbor Haven requires an informal meeting with you and your child.  This can happen in a few different ways:  you can come with your child to a scheduled meeting at the HH office and meet with the director for about 45 minutes; Robyn can schedule an observation of your child in his/her school or other structured setting (with your and the school’s permission of course); or you can attend one of our Open Houses.

You can fill out an enrollment application before or after the meeting by downloading it from this website and mailing, faxing or scanning it to us along with a refundable deposit of $750 (After February 20th, a $1500 desposit is required).  If you send the application in before speaking with Robyn or having her meet with you and your child, she will contact you to schedule it in one of the three ways mentioned above.
